Yeah, also I have the feeling Facebook doesnt want too many Influencers to exist because marketing agencies spend a lot for product placements on them.
The interesting thing here though is the economics donât work out. F/UF is a time and capital efficient method of growth because itâs so cheap. I said it in another thread, but if F/UF is piracy, FB/Insta needs to launch itâs Spotify - a better version of low cost growth for accounts that FB sanctioned.
Spending on promoted posts is entirely too expensive for the average F/UF user.
This cuts both ways, if influencers are creating value on the platform, FB gets $, the more value, the more $.
Yeah - thats very true. The reason we all do this is because it is the best method.
They are suing the New Zealand company in the US. Not sure what the judgement will mean. But at the end of the day itâs Facebook. They are worth billions and if they are coming after you publicly like that it canât be good.
As for continuing on, itâs not that simple. Your payment gateway always leads to a bank account and company owed by you. If you were warned once then you risk the chance of then coming after you.
Now, the way to get around that is use other people who are willing to put things in their name.
In the US anyone can sue anyone for anything. And the person who can keep paying the lawyers always wins. So donât get weighed down by details. Even if they donât have a winnable case they will win. You get it $$$$.
Hmmmm. I donât necessarily agree. Yes, fake likes, and follows is a common factor recently, but I have the feeling if you get on their radar they could send you a letter even if you arenât selling fake likes or follows. Itâs good PR for them to show they are âtaking a stance.â
last year they took down major botters, we know who they are ( Instagress being one and more)
Sep. 13 of last year all the like blocks at once from datacenter proxies. These in a chain of events â
leading to more. I got a hunch its not random but a pre-planned couple year goal to not eliminate botting and other stuff â just cut the heads off our tools.
I run likes off DC proxies with no problems
so do others â that is not what I am talking about. it was a crisis last year
Holidays to the US you can forget the rest of your life âŚ
And most payment providers are also in the US. You can probably no longer use them without the chance of your money being seized.
âŚthey are known to leak movies - but not cam jobs. They typically dump press screeners around awards times of the year to try and bump up exposure/nominations.
Iâve noticed a few Iâve seen overtime have gone to membership only recently - I know insta is cracking down again - especially while everyone is getting sued and the whole hiding of engagement is being tested. This would be because instaâs value is its active users - and if a vast percentage is fake, or inauthentic (ala âinfluencersâ and engagement groups etc), its value dips, and it becomes far harder to get big brands onboard with their advertising partnerships.
