Hey just wanted to know what type of music gets you guys into the groove of working?
What I’ve found most effective is picking a catchy song that you like and listening to it on repeat/loop for hours while you work.
Music is a waste of time. Listen to podcasts. Absorb information always.
You listen to podcasts while working? I’m all for them during driving or down time, but I don’t think I could be productive while absorbing words.
watches alex jones podcasts
Working. Training. I workout twice a day 5 days a week. I get a lot of info in.
The podcasts during work aren’t intensive. And it will mess with some people’s productivity.
Not mine.
Lofi Hip-hop
When I listen to this music, feel like I am in cloud and time is too sort for working. lol
That doesn’t drive you mad? It would push me over the edge
Nah, if I’m ripping through invoices, researching sources, software maintenance, twitter, news, etc, the music is just blocking out the distraction of hearing.
Currently looping ASAP Rocky - Praise the Lord for the 38th time…
weird flexx but okay
I listen to old school rap like Nas, Biggie, The Roots, etc. huge fan of boom bap beats, but I’m also favorable towards Jap Rap like The Teriyaki Boyz and Rip Slyme. Newer stuff and different genres sometimes. When I go for walks I put on an audiobook.
Deep house music helps me stay tuned and work faster
Also I do love rap and mantras/lounge at the end of the day
Today I enjoyed working with this music
Yes! Jazz works like a charm!! I also listen to country music to focus haha
usually just background noise like aerospace, waterfall, beach waves.
oh and some smooth jazz
Radio usually but the MRI is kinda loud so sometimes no music at all
Pete Rock - Rest Easy Phife
Pete Rock - A little Soul
Onra - Bye Bye
Songs similar to these on low volume - Gets me super focused!
If I want to focus but get bored of repetitive music, I use some mix from this channel. These musics don’t have vocals and they are still enjoyable.
The Rolling Stones, RHCP, The Animals
