Bite-sized Guide V: How to Extract LinkedIn Profiles Information Automatically

A lot of people have been looking for viable tools to make scraping easier. We know you have been introduced to a few of them and even used them already for your personal and/or business use cases. In our last guide, we discussed with you the use of Phantombuster in doing Instagram auto follow.

The Phantombuster is probably well known to those of you who were able to read our earlier bite-sized blogs. Below is a short guide on how you can use this tool to scrape information from specific groups of people in LinkedIn who belong to a particular niche you want to scrape data from.

Below is the step-by-step process on how to scrape LinkedIn profiles information via Phantombuster. Read on to know more.

  1. Connect a Phantombuster extension to your browser.

  1. Login to your LinkedIn account.

  1. Open Phantombuster and click the “Connect to LinkedIn” button. You will no longer have to get the session cookies manually as the Phantombuster extension will do the work for you.

  1. Go to your LinkedIn Account and choose the people you want to scrape information from.

  1. Searches to Scrape. Input the URL you got from your LinkedIn account. Please refer to step 4 above.

  1. Email Discovery. If you do not have other tools to give you more scraping credits (such as Dropcontact), you can opt to use the default which is the Phantombuster itself.

  1. Settings. Set the parameters. It is highly advised to add a proxy on this page to protect your account and to keep the automation work as intended. While Phantombuster provides to its clients free proxies, it is best to use your own especially if you are dealing with social media profiles to ensure that the proxies you are utilizing are only dedicated to you and not shared with other people.

  1. Toggle on the “Switch on your Flow to get started”.

  1. Results. Below is how the results look like.
