How to get connections to my target students

I’m a teacher and I’d like to get connections to people who need the skills I’m teaching. The problem is people only show what they can do and don’t show what skills they want to learn.

It’s easy for me to target my students on Facebook and Twitter. Now I’m trying to figure out if it’s possible to do the same on LinkedIn.

Any ideas are much appreciated.

Have you tried to target people who enrolled in particular “LinkedIn Learning” courses?

That would be my best thought here. See what they’re actually interested in learning on LinkedIn.

I don’t think LinkedIn would add a section there to indicate what things do people wanna learn about. Of course, if you want to be hired, you would only display the things you are already knowledgeable of.

How about creating a LinkedIn page, then other users who might be interested in learning what you teach can reach out to your page then/
