I got this message three days ago when I tried to submit the appeal form https://help.instagram.com/contact/1652567838289083

There was a problem with this request. We’re working on getting it fixed as soon as we can.

Still not able to submit the appeal form today, I have tried other IPs (not proxy) and got the same message.
Has anyone run into the same problem?

Sometimes their appeal endpoints are down, give it a few days and then try again.

I followed the steps and selected personal account. Received the email to submit picture verification however I received another email to submit a local business license,tax filing,utility bill,etc… I don’t have any of that. What should I do?

After 5 days that didn’t get any answer, they send today the answer of reactivation. After 5-6 days

They’ve been pretty slow to do this lately.

7 days is a while, but better than not at all. It seems - at least for the most part - that with these accounts getting disabled for posting they’re willing to reactivate them. Had one recovered yesterday at day 5/6, but when it happened on a different account last week it was done within that same day. Probably just a lucky roll of the dice kinda thing, because 3 days seemed to be the norm before.

However, not sure if they’ll get disabled immediately after posting again, and that’s a bigger problem if so.

Sounds like you pressed the wrong button and requested an unban for a business account.

Has anyone got their account back with this method when it comes to copyright ban?

As I manage content that is against their tos I’m getting some of the accounts disabled from time to time. Always get the account back. Sometime after one day and something it takes even 7 days. Just apply each day and follow the instructions provided by @HenryCooper . Unfortunately it doesn’t work for copyrights. Copyrights are impossible to recover.

Did you test that? Because we recovered quiet a few copyright issue accounts.

I submitted the form again and made sure I clicked on “No” for personal account still received an email stating I needed to submit one of the documents mentioned above…

Well in that case maybe just fake those documents or send in the real ones. Is your account a business or personal account?

your proxy ip have already mark by instagram,you can change other country vpn to do it

@HenryCooper you are awesome. I was able to unban lot’s of accounts with this method after latest ban wave. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. But I have the same problem as ning55660. I got this email on 4 of my accs. I will PM you acc urls. Please help me out. I’m not sure if I should continue sending emails or should I try smt different. The messige is:

Was able to unban quite a few accounts recently. Had to send the code picture twice, and still took another two days after the second send.

This is new to me though:

After submitting the form 27 times, it gave me that message. Too bad, as I was submitting the final account lol. Looks like I’ll have to revisit that.

EDIT: I opened an incognito window and submitted the form successfully. I’ll update back whether or not I’m able to recover this account.
