How are you getting to that? I keep getting all the emails and codes, etc but ultimately I end up back on the “help us confirm you own this account” page with no options to take action. It’s weird because I have 3 linked accounts and the other 2 are fine, it’s just my main big one I can’t access.

Hi guys, I’m experiencing the same problem yesterday in UK. I kept getting redirected to secure your account and changing passwords or using phone verification codes doesn’t seem to help at all. I’m stuck in this endless loop. I can no longer access my old email associated with instagram so phone was the only option yet it still doesn’t work. I reported on the form and instagram came back to me saying it appears my issue is resolved when it hasn’t. And challenge_required keeps popping up when I try to log in… what can i do?
I also get this problem at yesterday around 12pm something’s . I try all the functions above but still the same , when clicking “ secure your account “ jump back over this pages again . Can someone help ? I thinks this is not hacked is just Instagram system issue problem . I using instagram also 10years haven’t get this problem before I need back my account seriously!

i have a client with the same issue… but those login looks sometimes are just rest phase and then logging in through another device but the same proxy. i logged my client through an alternative method windows command software that activated her password change. how she is fine.
So here is what I did.
- Clicked on forgot password. Then enter the username of said account.
- Sends an email and I selected to change password.
- Then you should an email saying:
"This is a confirmation that the password for your Instagram account has just been changed.
If you didn’t change your password, you can secure your account here
If you’re having trouble, please refer to the Instagram Help Center."
4. Click secure account
5. Select yes this is me logging in.
6. Then that should lead you to the edit profile page and you should be able to access the account there after.
Worked for me. Tested only on 1 account.
Try out and let the rest know if its working for you.
That was the previous method and worked fine, now seems it fixed…
It is not working still, once I get the email and click on “secure your account here” it just takes me back to the same darn message of “help us confirm you own this account” ugh. I have been trying for the past 24 hours to find a fix and nothing is working. Did you try that process in the app or on a web browser?
When u click on secure your email, it leads to the Web browser
Did you used PC browser with VPN or straight from the phone?
Once we click the secure your accounts .
It’s lead back to the page wrote
“ Help us confirm you own this account “
It’s can jump to the page let us confirm that’s is us!
Can’t click anything’s
Can you help explain this way around? would be amazing if you could help can compensate

Got a reply from Support.
After I provided some details about my account, they wrote back asking me for a photo holding a sign with a number on it. I sent it, they replied with a link to reset my password. I clicked the link, reset my password and…got the same “Help Us Confirm You Own This Account”. I replied to that email with a screenshot and will update again when/if I get a reply.
Man this sucks. If you check the official Instagram Twitter account and look at their mentions you see a TON of people having this same issue, though. Leads me to believe something will be done about it.
Hey guys, I finally get back into my account after 2 days!
I did nothing with resetting the password anymore. I tried to login via app and this page came up:
I clicked the button and the security code was sent to my email, I put the code in and then a page of my detail came up and I just need to verify.
After that I can login again like normal!
Nice—that’s good news! Hopefully we all get that soon.
