Instagram Follow Block - Mega Thread - Level 1 [SERIOUS]

I have follow block even on my two accounts that we followed by hand and less than 6k.
Something is wrong with the Instagram for sure

No where near that amount

How could you even see him?

bro everyone here is freaking out and you’re out here trolling and shit, this isn’t the moment lmao

Hey. My 0.2 cents here. What matters if you can follow people with over 100M followers, etc? IMO it doesn’t matter at all. That’s clueless.

After reading all the posts here, in other forums and making my own tests (I have over 20.000 Instagram accounts, yes you’ve read right. I’m one of the biggest child-mother method providers) and being affected by the May 31th update too. As everybody else. All I can say is: WAIT at least one more week. STOP speculating. IMO:

  1. 6k/30 seems kind of “legit” but isn’t 100% true at all. Why? If the limit is set. Is set for every and EACH account. And I have a lot of accounts that have 6k+ over the last 30 days that are following as usual. So, as I’ve said. If the limit was 6k. It’ll be 6k for everyone. Not randomly.

  2. As others have said. Today, I even have like blocks in my account (more than 6 yrs old, 3k followers, I grew it even with FB and IG ads, etc). So, it’s very clear that IG has fucked up itself and they MUST fix it.

  3. STOP speculating and spreading misinformation. WAIT and we’ll see.

I suggest that if someone has another thing different to say that “I could follow Selena Gomez or Justin bieber”, “50 accounts were follow blocked after 6k but other 50 weren’t” etc. Do it. Else, stop saying useless things.

I’ll update if I find something new too.

David.

Rude, but you have good reason

Amen

It’s way too early for statements. There are way too many normal users affected as well as too many random blocks although a lot of them are above 6k.

Keep calm and wait until the most reports of normal users are gone. Then we will know more.

Furthermore, I just went to try and validate the 6k/30 day thing. It’s bogus. I have accounts that have followed 1.5K and are blocked and I have some that have followed 6k and are blocked. Yes, above 6k are all blocked, but it can be a totally random reason. David is right that if IG intentionally set that limit, it would effect every account equally. Or almost every account at the least.

The only way to really check every single variable would take so much damn time (e.g. checking that the proxy history you’re using has never been associated with another account that has received a block…something that I’m sure we all experience).

As he said, just be patient. These next 2 weeks are when all IG management services will decide to move on to the next thing.

Don’t be that guy…or gal

I stopped half of the accounts and lowered the settings on the other half. No bannings yet, but some followblocks. Let’s see what happens in a few days!

Guys listen, if the 6k Theory is right then instagram would die off in a few months like literally, it would become the new facebook, there’s people who follow 500-600 people daily by hand.

well you better ask them if they can still do that now!
No.
i found those people that do it manually here complaining too about the limits

Unblocks happening slowly, just heard from a client who, according to the 6000/30 math would be unblocked in days from now - so perhaps the penalty is not directly connect to the amount of actions in debt.

EDIT: My client was mistaken and is still blocked

100% also IG could’ve reset trust scores for all accounts that are suspicious
so rest and low settings are a Must

they told me to change ID I did it and the settings were lowered before, it didn’t work, as soon as Jarvee hit the follow button, the block started again.

In my opinion, due to the fact that also “Later” automation is blocked, they know who is using automation and block people in batch for testing purposes

Hi everyone. My first post here. Got hit by the follow ban about 20 days ago. Still can’t follow. I used to use bigbangram, stopped about 2 months ago and tried to follow manually every hour. I followed 50 people per hour and unfollowed 50, did it max. 7 times a day, usually 4. I was doing it for about 10 days and grew my account by about 2k followers in that period. Then one day I just couldn’t follow again.
I uninstalled the app, changed my password, didn’t help. Sent them 4 messages before I found this thread. My account is 3 years old, active user.
Symptoms are :

  • when I hit the follow button on a list of someone else’s followers I see this person is followed. I go to their account and I see I am following them and can send them a msg
  • at the same time the number of people I follow doesn’t increase
  • when I look for that recently followed person in the “following”, they are not there
  • I get action blocked pop up if I try to follow directly from someone’s account
I just hope they are experimenting and things will go back to normal soon.

ninjalytics will tell you whats happening to your account

I don’t get why everyone is getting upset over the 6000/30 day theory. At this point its the best evidence we have at this point. There are a few outliers, but its better to have that theory than just being in the dark about this whole situation. If the block hasn’t happened to your accounts, then just keep the 6000/30 day theory in the back of your mind in case is is true so you don’t get your accounts blocked. It doesn’t hurt anything to just be safer during this period where IG is blocking accounts and then ramp it up sometime within the next 3 weeks after this whole thing blows over. Just keep that and mind and stay updated on the forum to see if there are any big updates and you should be good

I would love this theory if my accounts actually cleared up from it.

Hey everyone, new to this thread and happy to have found it! Know there is a lot of speculation but thought I’d share my research on 30 accounts:

20/30 can still follow
10 have a follow block

Following details are from 4th May - 4th June, actually 31 days so being conservative. I stopped all actions on 4th June PM. I cannot say the numbers are 100% accurate as my clients do follow a few a day themselves, but none admit to following more than 15 a day and most say follow a lot less.

  • Every account that hit over 6k follows has follow action ban

  • 5 accounts that followed less than 5k have a follow action ban

  • Of the 5 accounts that followed less than 5k; EVERY account had at least 2 days where over 200 followers were followed. (suggesting 200/day is also a limit?)

  • However I have at least 6 accounts who have hit over 200 followers a day at least twice that DON’T have action blocks.

Working out when the follow block should be removed hasn’t worked for me or my clients as expected.

One account that had a follow block (followed 4785 in 31 day period max as it didn’t follow anyone manually) has had the follow block lifted. This is actually an account of mine that I could use to test all theories that would potentially lift the block. On this account I hit the “tell us” notification on the Follow Block itself. I also changed my bio. Restarted my phone. Sent in a Help/Report a Problem. Changed my password. The block was lifted 5 days after it was added.

According to the Follow Block lift calculations all but 1 of my clients should have had their block lifted by now. They haven’t. 10 still have a follow block 5 days later.

Any recommendations on what helps to lift the follow block please do let me know.

Happy to add more info if it’s useful - just let me know what?

Thanks, Lezlea

If the 6,000/30 theory stands and is confirmed then the result is pretty intense. Assuming this works on roll over and then the count needs to balance out then, in my balance theory, it would mean resting the account for the amount of days over (200/day)
but you said ‘‘One account that had a follow block followed 4785 in 31 day period max’’
the last follow block wave targeted mostly all accounts with different type of proxies settings bots … and the most infected accounts were the ones above 6,000/30 that’s why people talked a lot about it
some people seem to be having success following again when dropping bellow that limit and some don’t
