The elobration is easy. Out of personal experience and witnessing a lot of others facing this matter. Until their clients stopped doing so🙂
In earlier days nothing really happened, but recently the IG isn’t happy about it.
This is not only something I claim. This advice comes from both Jarvee and Followliker support also.
It is common knowledge today, that IG can differentiate between their own clients and 3rd party clients logging onto their system/enviroment.
The algo then logs the IP that you use during automation process. Whether this IP comes from vps, home ip or proxies.
Doing actions from different IPs and different clients at the same time has never been a good coctail. This will definately raise attention around your profile and raise a flag
Simultaneous connections to a specific profile with IG’s own app or web access (which are trusted gateways) will cause no harm. I have never received any warnings or notifications doing this.
But when it’s done from a 3rd. party app alongside the IG mobile app or IG web access, instantly a notifaction will be sent. With a message looking like this:
“We Noticed a New Login, XXX We noticed a login from a device you don’t usually use.”
This alone proves that the algo is sensitive to this matter.
Another thing is.
When logging onto IG with a specific IP, trust will start being built around that IP address.
On IG trust means everything.
The system gets “used” to see you operate from that specific IP or an IP from the same IP range.
Mobile data connections usually rotate their IPs. Sometimes IPs are assigned from different IP scopes even.
This is why it’s believed residential private proxies may work better for botting, rather than rotating 4G proxies.
Imagen when clients at the same time start doing actions from different ips, coming from different areas of the world.
This will trigger the algo to react. Not only because of botting, but also due to security reasons.
Every bot maker out there advice you to avoid having clients running instagram while automation is on. Even the private botmakers.
Yet again I feel it is important to state, that every rule and guideline given on any forum will be different from profile to profile. It is up to you to find that sweet spot.
Some profiles will be affected instantly, while some may experience issues much later.
If you experience blocks of any kind, it is important to ask yourself what you are doing wrong? Perhaps you are trying to save on some expenses which could be the root of your problems?
It is extremely difficult to help troubleshooting, when user only claim to be blocked. No Logs or metadata is provided, which is needed and required to find the cause.
