Really depends on the amount of actions you will be completing. 3 scrapers for every 2 accounts i find to work great. I haven’t had to replace a scaper in months.
Hi Hadi,
not so related question, im looking to scrap full information from a 550k instagram account, what setup should i have to do so without any-blocks or stops?
Currently when i trying, I get stoped every time on different numbers and its very slow.
How many scrapers do you have?
your going to need a lot of accounts to pull this off
you can also click on “continue from where left off” when it ends early
Im using 1 scrapper account and testing it out but it’s very slow and im getting around 20-30k user info ( best times) a day. Im using the “continue from where left off”.
Im not sure if it’s useful to use other scrapper accounts in my case(unless I have a list of all the 550k users and I split the scrapping between them.
Im trying to figure out the best approach, so I won’t need to scrap this account for 2 weeks lol.
Dude are you seriously trying to do that with 1 account? There are limits to what an account can do and 550k is wayyyyyy over the limit.
Even if you managed to get it to work your account will get banned. You need AT LEAST 50accounts to pull this off. I would recommend 200 scrapers if you don’t want to raise any flags and keep the API calls per account low.
Im aware its not safe for the account thats scrapping, not sure how can i set up, lets say 50 scrapers to scrap 1 account.
Is it the area in the scrape tool where we have Use(number) accounts to scrap in parallel?
Exactly, use this and configure only scraper accounts to do the scraping from the main settings page under connectivity, Instagram
Thanks, will try and do that
Is those fine to keep alive scrapers or not? I also have your “delay all tools when api…” settings already set
@Hadi does the account supposed to still be making api calls if the scrapers are supposed to be doing everything for them? I have noticed that they still say api success on all of my accounts? are they not set up properly?
Only API calls for scraping are made by the scraper accounts. When your main accounts are on API full emulation, you will still see the increase on API success on those main accounts, If you don’t want your main accounts to make API calls at all, you need to check Use only EB option on your main account.
Yeah they are on eb only which is why I’m wondering if they should have api success or not
Ie I did 30 follows on an account with only eb and it shows 30/30 api success
That shouldn’t happen. You can go to Tools tab > type your account name in the filter section > Actions on selected profiles, then click Export most recent successful api calls to check what api calls are made recently. Maybe they were made before you have Use only eb checked.
It looks like there has been a new Instagram update very recently, is anyone experiencing problems with Jarvee? I would like to get started with it but I am a bit of a noob
What kind of update are you talking about? Need to be a bit more specific for help.
Just from my account and others I work with, we have seen a 70% drop off in engagement and a “Could not refresh feed” error after only a few actions.
I am mainly trying to find help about setting up Jarvee for the first time, I don’t have any scraper accounts and I am wondering if that will get my account banned
Scraper accounts won’t get your account banned… they’re needed to prevent the accounts your automating from having to scrape(in essence protecting them from doing extra api calls out of the normal). So yes, you will want to use scrapers if you plan to use jarvee.
I did recieve that error about could not refresh my feed last night on my phone, but it only occurred once. I’m not seeing any issues as far as api calls inside the software. Their are settings to help prevent you from doing too many api calls, when setup properly they work.
Thank you so much! I am not trying to become the biggest account in the world, just get a bit more engagement and sell a few photos!
I will try and sort out a scraper account and get it all sorted. Thank you for replying
So what is a safe amount of API calls to do per hour/day now?
What delay limits should we set on the scrapers now?
