🔝 No content for your social media accounts? No problem!

Hello, my dear MPSocial members,

I was browsing another forum’s marketplace (I know, I know, I’m not a traitor, I just occasionally spy on them there) and found something interesting:

  • A software, a bot, used to get content from Reddit and post it to your Instagram automatically.

Then I realized, damn, they’re selling just 1% of Jarvee here :joy: so I wanted to show all of you how you can easily get images from Reddit and post them to your Instagram account (or any other social media account that Jarvee supports).

So, let’s say we’re in the adult niche and we need pics of hot girls, we’ll go over to Reddit, find a subreddit with hot girls and get its RSS Feed.

Here’s an example of subreddit:

https://www.reddit.com/r/IRLgirls/

All you need to do in order to get RSS is add .rss at the end, so it looks like this:

https://www.reddit.com/r/IRLgirls.rss
by default, that’s subreddits Hot page.

If you want to make sure you get all new posts from that subreddit, you’ll use:
https://www.reddit.com/r/IRLgirls/new.rss

Another option is to use Top page of subreddit, here’s how that link should like:
https://www.reddit.com/r/IRLgirls/top.rss

OK, now you got the point.

What we’re going to do next is

  1. Create a campaign in Jarvee, I like Standard campaign most.
  2. Set destination list (your Instagram account or whatever you prefer).
  3. Go to What to publish tab > RSS Posts and add subreddit’s feed there. Here’s how it should look like:

When rss feed is added, set it as I did in the screenshot, to Add Images and Ignore items without images. Also, set it to Extract the last 50 items although I think Reddit’s RSS doesn’t show more than 30, but I’m not sure. Anyway, better keep it 50, it won’t harm.

Click on Start and you’re good to go. Here’s how your Posts list will look like in a minute or two:

There’s a Template in the RSS Feed option in Jarvee, where you can add your own text, I used token [TITLE] in this example, but it’s not best choice. You can choose whatever you want, use spinning syntax, use hashtags… It’s up to you.

Before starting the campaign, go to Overview tab > Advanced settings > General and set the campaign to check RSS Feed every 120 minutes (i.e.). Depending on how active is subreddit, you can set it to check more often so you get more content. Here’s how I’ve set it:

Now all you need to do is set timers and start your campaign.

I took adult niche as an example, but Reddit is one of the most popular websites on the net, and I don’t think there’s a niche that is not on Reddit, so there’s something for everyone. All you have to do is take 30-40 minutes to find good subreddits that you’ll use as a source of your content.

It could be hard to find right subreddits on Reddit directly, so you can google for them, you’ll usually find some website with a list of subreddits in a specific niche. That’s what I did in this case:

That’s all, short, sweet and useful I hope so.

Regards
Truly yours :joy:
Adnan

EDIT 2 (important)

Found the solution:
Sign up here, it takes 10 seconds with Google account:
https://rss.app/

add subreddit link (not its rss feed) and you’ll get the feed link from them, it will look like this:

https://rss.app/feeds/X6ty2nHKQF30jyoN.xml

add it to Jarvee, set up as I did in OP, and you get full images.

Great share @Adnan

I was looking to that thread today haha, nice.

2 questions:

  1. When you create a Campaign and you import multiple images, there is an option to add a doc: http://prntscr.com/s4vfdn that will append text to the images (excepting the signature feature)
  • Is there a way to append something like that with your method
  1. When Jarvee extracts the image, will it extract the full size (within the article) or the thumbnail from the RSS feed frontpage?

I think this option works only when adding images directly to Jarvee, not via RSS.

Just thumbnail from RSS feeds yes, not the best quality.

Sry man, I think this whole bit is copy-paste so you’re disqualified … I’ll have to double check though, but slim chances to reconsider :stuck_out_tongue:

Holy Shit dude, niche share! I tried this and it look like this in my drafts:

Have I missed something?

Check Add image and Ignore items without images in What to publish > RSS Posts.

I’ve checked both, before posting up the image :upside_down_face:

Is there a way to delete certain texts before going into draft or post list? I know in the repost tool you can add a dynamic text that detects certain texts and replaces them with other. is there a way to do that with the campaign tool?

Thanks @Adnan for a nicely done guide, I can confirm that it works! we used it for cars pages in the past.

There’s a Find and replace for Post text in Campaign’s Overview tab, you can use it to remove or replace whatever you want.

Cool  I didn’t have to do that on my side, it worked without that option on. Anyway, good find

There’s nothing to be blocked, I wouldn’t worry about it.

Thanks.

Great to hear that. Reddit is really inexhaustible source of content.

Quarantined subreddits definitely have their RSS feed blocked. I can DM you an example, if you can fix it for me, I’ll send you a few bucks as a tip
