This account has been disabled 4 times previously & now possibly a 5th. I have successfully been able to recover it on my own the first 3 times. This is a page associated with an OnlyFans model that has 140k followers. Her account is always being flagged for Nudity, Sexual Activity, Solicitation, & a few others. I’d say 4 out of every 5 she gets flagged it’s total non-sense as celebrities & musicians or models with a “blue check” post nearly identical bikini, lingerie, & even implied nudity pics. She posts & somehow the enforcement is different. She’s actually pretty successful at challenging the posts & getting them overturned on appeal (about 50%). Regardless, sometimes what she posts does push the boundaries too much.
#1 October 2020- Took a few days to get back using the standard forms. IG then flagged a post from a few months earlier despite not posting anything & deactivated again.
#2 October 2020 - Took a few weeks to get back. Tried the standard forms but didn’t have success until just trying the form for appealing a Copywrite infringement (figured it was worth a try). The account was recovered a day later. Unfortunately, about a week later IG flagged a story for solicitation after simply referencing her OnlyFans while answering a fan’s question (never said to go follow or anything).
#3 December 2020 - Took a few months of submitting weekly using the standard forms but didn’t have success until submitting via laptop instead of on mobile. Recovered a day later.
#4 June 2021 - Deleted for Nudity (was wearing underwear & covering boobs with hands) which celebs do all the time. I was unable to use the standard appeals forms as I continue to get the “The short-link URL you provided is not a User. Please provide a valid User”. Submitted to ReCap & recover the next day. Unfortunately Deactivated the following day for a post from months ago.
That is when the above message was received stating the account had been deleted. I’m really hoping that’s not the case though. BTW- she has another account with about 60K followers that was deactivated in February for the very 1st time. Still it’s been almost 3 months but ReCap has been unable to recover that account so far.
My account was also disabled for nudity. I sent a naughty pic to my “close friends list”, it wasn’t a post or a story available to all my followers and Instagram still disabled my account on Jan 1, 2021.
Like you said, celebrities do that all the time!! Always posing in semi-nude pics, or even worse, Donald Trump spreading lies all over social media and his accounts are still visible, he just has limitations when it comes to posting
Is there a wave of accounts getting deleted (like actually deleted vs. only disabled) by Instagram? I just received a notification of pretty much all my accounts not being able to do appeals anymore because they have possibly been deleted. I also had the situation where two weeks ago, two accounts were reactivate but actually seem to have been deleted by Instagram, so they are no literally gone.
I know this isn’t a support page here but I’m genuinely wondering whether other people are experiencing problems where their accounts have now just gotten deleted. A few months ago, there was a similar hiccup but it just seems to have been an Instagram bug vs accounts actually being deleted.
