Can I change the hardware configuration of my Virtual Dedicated Server later on?
Partly. While both the CPU cores and RAM can be customized, it will depend on availability. In order to do so, kindly get in touch with us.

What exactly is a Virtual Dedicated Server?
Our Virtual Dedicated Servers bring together all the advantages of a Dedicated Server and a VPS. Thus, it can be considered as a hybrid between a VPS and a Dedicated Server.
By means of virtualization multiple VDS exist on a host server system the same way as VPS, but each Virtual Dedicated Server has its own dedicated hardware resources, so computing power in the form of CPU Cores and RAM ready to be used only for your own applications without sharing them with other VDS on the same host server system. Because of this, VDS can be fully used for any kind of virtualization projects and support real-time sensitive applications perfectly.

How do I connect to my VDS?
You can use Remote Desktop Connection to connect to and control your new server from a remote device by using a Microsoft Remote Desktop client (available for Windows, iOS, macOS and Android).
You will receive your IP address and password after your purchase.

How many IG Accounts can I use?
We recommend the following minimum, but we’ve seen higher numbers:

• STARTER VDS: 10+ Social Accounts
• BIZ VDS: 30+ Social Accounts
• ENTERPRISE VDS: 70+ Social Accounts

*Accounts with EB will use way more resources of your VDS, than API accounts.

Why not!

Basically a VPS has multiple users sharing the same setup. This means shared cpu and is the reason why Jarvee users have a hard time on VPS. VDS is a dedicated server where all resources are used for one person. Meaning very fast!

I currently use turn key for my server but will need a new one soon because I need to add another 200 slaves to a new Jarvee. I’m not computer savy so can’t tell if your VDS stats are better than my current one so a monthly test would be great! Will end up having 5-10 servers when at full scale so need a good reliable seller with a fast/ affordable setup.

Currently, my ram is being throttled at 200 slaves on turnkey, yet CPU usage is very low. Will be good to see how yours compares. (Hated Hetzner and suport is terrible)

Thanks for your explanation and the advantages of a VDS over a VPS.
Regarding RAM memory and CPU cores, with the recent higher usage of EB in JV, memory has become an important part of the setup. If memory runs out or is too slow, the EB will crash and this will effect your automation on the given platform.
CPU is all about the active threads and of course speed of computing the different tasks in JV. In an ideal world both RAM and CPU should be calculated higher than expected, but if you are pushing high api calls, especially simultaneously, then CPU needs to be taken into account. For heavy EB use, and we know that JV can have a lot of those, RAM memory needs to be taken into account.
Best advise I can give is to not push your servers all the way to their limits, always account for some “headroom” if you want your automation to run smoothly.

I would say that is the main difference between VPS and VDS is the kind of virtual server and modern technology that it’s utilized, in order to transform the server

I need one to be able to install a larger version of JV and to be able to run hundreds of IG accounts at the same time

As the guys above me already mentioned the advantages of VDS above VPS is that it’s only me using the setup what makes it possible to maximize the performance.

And talking about maximizing the performance that is what I’m looking for. I’d like to see that what can your 29€ server offer since the new step is scaling m&c.

It would be amazing if I can give it a test and if we find the right setting together I’d consider moving all my server to one provider since now they are split up what makes communication harder.

I use Jarvee for 90% twitter and 10% Instagram Accounts so I really need good power CPU/Ram.
I want to run 250 Accounts, even 500 accounts (2x 250plan installation) in the future.

Is the 89€ plan the best for 250 accounts ? I am near Germany so even my user experience will be better than now I guess. (I use VPS Greencloud with server in USA while I am in Europe).
